Just started a few days ago, so thanks to everyone I've had the pleasure of rp'ing with. Though, I'm awful with names so I can't list everyone, but you know who you are. And kudos to wids, for being awesome. Haven't had the chance to rp with their character here, but I expect great things, as they certainly set the bar high.

We did do a fair bit of reminiscing last night, didn't we?
You know what would definitely convince me to remake Maddy? If Falcifer came over here and remade Venny. Too bad he's too busy being a bigwig over on PotM, but a bug in his ear couldn't hurt things.... ;D

More like thanks to DM Abyss for beating our asses and then saving us.... which is FAR better in my opinion. And thanks to DM Scurvy for having Steven Segal as an avatar and Chuck Norris as a deity. I DEEM THEE FALSE! My first PnP character is a hin rogue named Bodong Deepdelver, and to this day he worships a mysterious entity of rock named Jimmy Page... Of course when Josh Homme finally makes it to proper godhood status he may be forced to become bi- curioustheistic.

I had a DND character who I used to say was a Top Secret character who almost died in a time travel mission once. He thought he followed a god called IssTee ( Ice T ) who lived in a towering city of glass.

Yeah, big time. We're having a lotta fun with this, and I can only see it getting better once more people get involved... At least when it's built every single PC (and presumably NPC) on the island can stop getting Card's sales pitch lol. At least PBS plays the Crossroads Music Festival haha

Well, don't expect any wizard school to be built in a day. Serrica's still lugging around a heap of materials for rebuilding and consecrating a shrine, which is a lot smaller than a school. Give it time. Hmm. I wonder if a fully fledged temple is out of the question.... It does speak volumes about the quality and intrigue of a persistent server world when players care enough to try to leave their marks on it, doesn't it? ;D

A heaping helping of kudos to Scurrrrrrrvy. Serrica's long-expected guest arrived in Palaggar at long last, and after a trek through the Creekwood Forest, the great work of locating a certain shrine on the Defiled Beach and relocating it to Umberlee's Shoal (with the help of a gaggle of undead harpies), repairing it and reconsecrating it to a certain sea goddess has begun! The whole affair was a blast, including the part where Serrica's guest disproved her initial assumption that he was a mere acolyte by demonstrating through sheer spellpower that he outranked her by a pretty good league. I don't know if Scurvy picked a rank for the guy, but I'll whip up a topic to help with that decision. Not that ecclesial ranks in a Chaotic church system mean all that much anyway.... Joining together in prayer before moving the shrine was pretty cool, as improvised off-the-cuff prayers among two or more people tend to be. And then of course came the consecration, where Serrica pretty well emptied her backpack and sacrificed a big pile of gems, relics of an enemy god and such. The high priest eventually had to tell Serrica, "Okay, that's more than enough," after three full stacks of black pearls, four clumps of rare seaweed and a whole mess of other stuff (which was maybe less than half of the stuff that Serrica had saved up for ceremonial offerings, but she likes to go the extra mile for her goddess like that). Scurvy's big, blue flash of light (from the sacrificial offerings being accepted) completely surprised me and gave me a good jolt, and I really liked that extra touch. ;D Enjoy the kudos, Scurvy. And best of luck with the move tomorrow! May your new home rock hard.

(Also, apologies for the abrupt exit. NWN froze up and crashed at that time, and I didn't bother to relog. I had to head to bed anyway. So I hope you don't think that I was being rude or whatnot.)
