To make it clear what fair "used" item prices are for PC to PC sales, we're setting up the following guidelines:
Primary Used Goods Price Guideline: minimum price is 75% of the best price an npc merchant will sell the item. Secondary Used Goods Price Guideline: minimum price is three times what an npc merchant will buy the item for. Crafted Goods Price Guideline: At least what it cost to craft the item.
This means, if a +1 strength ring can be purchased from an NPC for 6K, then you may sell it used to another PC for 4K or more. If a feather is not sold by merchants, but merchants will pay 20 for it ... then the used sell price is 60 at a minimum.
In the case of crafted items, ignore the two general rules and sell it for at least what it cost to craft. This should include the cost of any components that the buyer did not provide.
There will be some items whose used price does not make sense following this general guideline. Please bring those to our attention and we'll either correct their prices or make an exception specifically for that item.
